Trash bin cleaning in Broward County

Garbage collection in Broward is a city service, not a county one. Each city hires its own hauler and draws its own routes, so two houses a mile apart in neighboring cities can be collected on different days, and the county itself only collects in the unincorporated pockets it governs directly. That is why we never quote a Broward pickup day. We ask for yours when you book, and the visit is set for that day, once the truck has been through and the cart is empty.

The county is not one kind of place either. Along the coast — Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Dania Beach, Pompano Beach — carts sit in salt air, and in the older neighborhoods they live in shaded side yards and alleys where nothing dries. Out west, in Weston, Pembroke Pines, Miramar and Coral Springs, most streets are newer master-planned communities, where the cart sits on a driveway in full sun and an HOA often has a view on where it is kept. Heat drives the smell in one case and damp in the other; heated water deals with both.

Buildings are a separate job. Condo towers, apartment buildings and townhouse HOAs have dumpsters, trash rooms and cart banks that the hauler empties but never washes. We clean those across Broward too, priced by quote rather than by the bin.
