Why do Plantation Acres bins need cleaning more often than the rest of the city?
Plantation has one of the densest mature tree canopies in Broward, and in the older central neighborhoods a cart can sit in near-total shade all day. Shade is the single most underrated factor in how quickly a bin goes bad: without direct sun the interior never dries between collections, so every week's residue is added to a surface that is still damp from the last one. Those are the carts where the inside walls develop a slick, dark film rather than loose debris.
Plantation Acres, on the western side, is a different city altogether — large lots, many of them with horses, chickens or extensive landscaping, and correspondingly heavy yard and animal waste going into bins. That is a much heavier organic load than a typical suburban household produces, and it needs a shorter cleaning interval to stay ahead of.

Yes, though animal and heavy yard waste builds up faster than a standard household's, so the monthly plan is the one to be on. If you think the carts need more than that in summer, add a note when you book online and we will call you about it.
Can you clean a shared cart corral at a condo?
We do, and we recommend doing the corral and the carts on the same visit. Cleaning carts and returning them to a contaminated corral re-seeds the problem within days.
Do you use chemicals that will hurt my landscaping?
No. The treatment is biodegradable and applied inside the cart, and we tidy the area before we leave.
