Trash bin cleaning in Aventura

Aventura is a city of towers, and most of its waste never touches a curb — it goes down a chute into a room that almost nobody cleans. We handle both sides of that: the shared carts and chute rooms in the high-rises, and the curbside bins in the neighborhoods around them.

On the ground in Aventura

Why do Aventura's high-rise chute rooms smell worse than any curbside bin?

Aventura is defined by its high-rise skyline along Biscayne Boulevard and the Intracoastal, and that changes the problem entirely. In a tower, waste goes down a chute into a ground-floor room where carts sit under the opening collecting whatever misses. That room is enclosed, unventilated and warm, and the residue on the chute walls and the cart rims is never touched by the building's cleaning contract. It is the single most concentrated source of odor and insects in most Aventura buildings, and residents on the second floor are the ones who notice first.

The low-rise streets — Aventura Lakes, The Waterways, the townhouse rows off Country Club Drive — are a more familiar picture: curbside carts on compact lots, close to the water, in permanent humidity. Proximity to the Intracoastal means salt in the air and a film on the plastic that holds moisture against it.

Aventura also has a large seasonal population. Units sit empty for months, then fill for a season, and a cart that took heavy use for six weeks and then sat sealed through a Florida summer is a specific kind of problem — one that a single deep clean solves better than a schedule does.

Aventura questions

Asked and answered

Do you clean chute rooms and cart banks in Aventura high-rises?

Yes — that is a large part of our commercial work here. We clean the carts, the chute opening area and the room itself, scheduled outside resident traffic and billed to the association. Call 954-594-1666 to walk the building.

We're seasonal residents. Can we book just twice a year?

Yes, and that is often the right call in Aventura. A clean at the start of your season and another when you close the unit up beats a year-round schedule for a bin that sits unused half the year.

Does being near the Intracoastal affect the bin?

It does. Salt air leaves a film that holds moisture against the plastic and never fully dries, and it works on the metal hinge pins and axles. Regular washing removes the film; it will not reverse corrosion already there.
