Trash bin cleaning in Hialeah

Hialeah packs more people into less ground than almost anywhere in the state. That combination produces two compounding problems.

Hialeah also has a dense commercial fabric — small restaurants, bakeries, markets and warehouses along the east side — where dumpsters sit close to homes. Those containers drive far more of the block's insect and rodent pressure than the household carts near them do.
