Trash bin cleaning in Sunny Isles Beach
The BinFather cleans trash carts and waste rooms in Sunny Isles Beach, along the Collins Avenue corridor, Golden Shores and Winston Towers. Single-family curbside service is $30 a cleaning for 2 bins on a monthly plan, or $65 for one; condominium waste rooms are quoted through the commercial quote form. On a barrier island less than a mile wide, salt reaches everything.

On the ground in Sunny Isles Beach
Why does salt air ruin a bin faster in Sunny Isles Beach than anywhere inland?
Sunny Isles Beach sits on a barrier island barely wide enough for Collins Avenue and the towers lining it. Nowhere in the city is more than a few hundred metres from salt water, and that has two consequences for anything made of plastic and metal left outside. Salt-laden air deposits a film that attracts and holds moisture, so a container here effectively never dries; and it attacks hinge pins, axles and lid hardware, which is why bins on this strip age visibly faster than identical ones a few miles west.
Most of the city's waste moves through building chute systems rather than curbside collection. The ground-floor rooms those chutes empty into are enclosed, warm and in constant use, and cleaning contracts for the buildings rarely cover the inside of the carts or the chute opening itself. That is where the smell in a lobby corridor usually originates.
Golden Shores, on the west side of Collins, is the exception — single-family homes with ordinary curbside carts on compact lots. Those have the standard South Florida problem, plus the salt.

Sunny Isles Beach questions
Asked and answered
Do you service oceanfront condo buildings here?
Yes. Chute rooms, cart banks and trash rooms are commercial work, scheduled outside resident hours and billed to the association. Request a quote for the building through the commercial quote form on our website.
My bin's lid and wheels are corroding. Can you help?
Cleaning removes the salt film that holds moisture against the hardware, which slows it down considerably. It cannot reverse corrosion that has already happened — at that point the container needs replacing, and we will tell you rather than charge you to wash it.
Do you serve the Golden Shores single-family streets?
We do. Those are ordinary curbside carts and get the same heated wash, sanitize and deodorize as anywhere else on the route.
